Secrets to being a model
When attending casting calls, ensure impeccable presentation by selecting outfits that flatter your figure and wearing heels. Opt for natural makeup and minimal nail polish to maintain a polished appearance.
Take care of your skin by minimizing the use of chemical-laden products, as they can accelerate aging over time. While modeling offers lucrative opportunities, success requires ongoing proactive efforts and maintaining your appearance.
It’s wise to have a backup career and continue your education until you’re certain about pursuing modeling full-time. Diet and exercise are paramount as your body is your primary asset for securing jobs; nurturing a positive relationship with your body is essential for success.
To excel as a model, adhere to a rigorous exercise regimen and prioritize healthy eating habits to maintain a naturally radiant appearance without resorting to extreme measures such as starvation.
Advice for Avoiding Model Scams
Always be cautious if a company claiming to be a modeling agency reaches out to you online, as this is not standard procedure. US Models will initiate contact with aspiring models only if they have first approached our company through one of our official channels: the US Models website, app, or Facebook page.
If you receive any messages of a sexual or explicit nature from a person or company claiming to be a modeling agency, report them immediately.
In the modeling industry, it is standard practice for a modeling agency or support service to obtain permission from a parent or guardian before a model under the age of 18 engages in modeling work. Any person or company suggesting they can bypass this step is not legitimate and may pose a safety risk.
US Models will never send a friend request to a model or invite anyone to Skype with a model scout. Similarly, other reputable companies in the industry refrain from such practices. If you receive either of these invitations, we advise you to ignore them.
US Models operates as a model support service, not a modeling agency, and therefore, we do not scout models or ask them to sign onto our roster. Our company is known exclusively as ‘US Models.’
The official website of US Models is usa-models.com, and our New Faces Consultants’ contact number is 954-369-2072. Any calls originating from a different number are not associated with us.
