In the modeling industry, it is standard practice for a modeling agency or support service to obtain permission from a parent or guardian before a model under the age of 18 engages in modeling work. Any person or company suggesting they can bypass this step is not legitimate and may pose a safety risk.
US Models will never send a friend request to a model or invite anyone to Skype with a model scout. Similarly, other reputable companies in the industry refrain from such practices. If you receive either of these invitations, we advise you to ignore them.
